Let’s face it: Pretty Little Liars’ Aria and Ezra used to be Rosewood’s most controversial couple back when they were making out in bar bathrooms and exchanging flirty glances in his high school classroom. But now that Toby is on the “A” team, we think it’s safe to say that they’re about to lose that title (if they haven’t already). But Ezria will not go down without a fight.
Lucy recently spoke to Hollywood Life about the upcoming return of Wesley and what’s in store for Aria and her Elena Gilbert-esque brother triangle.
“He and I have a few episodes together. Love me some Gregg Sulkin; he’s great. And he’s there for Aria in a way that Ezra definitely can’t be there for her,” Lucy said.

What is is that Wesley has that Ezra doesn’t? Is it that he’s closer to Aria’s age? Or height? Is it his hair? Or perhaps it all just has to do with the fact that Ezra’s life is about to get very dramatic.
“Ezra’s past is coming back to haunt him. He seemingly has a kid, so for the remainder of the season, Aria and Ezra will be dealing with that. Aria’s only 17, and to have to deal with that is a lot. They’re once again on a roller coaster ride, and I think the ‘Ezria’ fans are going to be in for it this season — whether that’s positive or negative, I can’t say,” Lucy said.
Like we said: Ezria isn’t going down without a fight. And it doesn’t help when there’s a baby mama in town. Although Lucy certainly doesn’t mind having Maggie (Larisa Oleynik) hang around Rosewood … probably because she was a huge fan of Larisa’s well-known show, The Secret World of Alex Mac.
“Me and Ian freaked out. I grew up watching that show. She’s so sweet, and she looks the exact same!”
She might look the same, but Maggie is not Alex, and we have no idea what to expect from the newcomer. Could this season see the end of Ezria? Will Aria develop feelings for Wesley? We know that Wesley has great hair and all, but he doesn’t have Ezra’s eyes. So really, the choice comes down to something as simple as: hair or eyes? One of life’s toughest questions.
